The waterfront Doe Bay Café is dedicated to celebrating the unique seasonality, flavor and freshness of Orcas Island farms, foragers and fishermen with every plate that comes out of our kitchen. Fresh, local, organic and delicious are our rules!

The Doe Bay Cafe and its partner, the Doe Bay Organic Garden is no longer a secret. We share that with pride and a little melancholy. One of the greatest things for the Doe Bay Cafe team is to see a guest come in expecting "end of the road on an island" cafe food, only to finish their meal, in awe saying, "That was the best meal I have ever had". You would be surprised how often that happens. The fact that we grow most of what we serve is only part of the formula. Everyone in the cafe is a "foodie" and we try to indulge their passion for great dining experiences. Please let us know what you think.

Take a look at our Breakfast and Dinner sample menus. The Doe Bay Cafe can cater your event on any corner of our property. Check out the event catering page for more information.

The Doe Bay Café is dedicated to celebrating the unique seasonality, flavor and freshness of Orcas Island farms with every plate that comes out of our kitchen. Our food is made almost entirely of organic ingredients, from our seed-to-table garden, to neighboring farms and orchards, and including specialties from fair trade and small-scale regional producers. We follow green practices such as recycling, composting, using biodegradable products, and local sourcing. Above all, we strive to treat our staff and guests alike with care, sharing our mission to transform the bounty of this island and the surrounding waters into exceptional Northwest cuisine.
