Sea YurtA modern update on the dwelling shelters used by Central Asian nomads, our yurts are wonderful spaces to sleep in. Pleasing to look at from within and without, our yurts have no power or water, but do come with a double bed and bedding. All yurts are a short walk to showers, toilets, and shared cooking facilities. Sea Yurt is the closest space to the soaking tubs/sauna and has nice water views of Otter Cove. Join us for a camping experience with amazing views and simplicity, but without the hassle of bringing your own gear! We only offer the domes and yurts with a double bed and bedding provided during the warmer months of the year – generally April-November. Even then, we do recommend that you come prepared with extra blankets if the weather is cool. From November to April, subject to availability and storm conditions, yurts can be booked by phone as winter camping spaces (no bed provided and no heat = bring your warmest bedding). The domes and yurts at Doe Bay are some of our most popular accommodations – satisfy your taste for adventure with this unique experience! |
