Camping at Doe Bay

Camping at Doe Bay offers a simple, nature-forward experience surrounded by forest and sea. Whether you’re traveling with a camper van, pitching a tent in the woods, or hoping to wake up to some of the most scenic views in the San Juan Islands, our campsites are designed to help you settle into the landscape and stay close to the heart of the resort.

All campsites share nearby bathhouses, and campfires are permitted only at our community fire ring.

Explore the type of camping experience that fits your style:

Drive-In Camping

Ideal for guests traveling with sleep-in vehicles, camper vans, or those who prefer parking at their campsite.

Drive-in sites are centrally located and within close proximity to Doe Bay’s baths, café, and waterfront. These sites accommodate small to mid-sized RVs and sleep-in vehicles up. Each site includes a picnic table for gathering.

All drive-in campsites accommodate a maximum of 4 adults plus children.

No hook-ups are available. We discourage the use of generators; if necessary, they must be used minimally and respectfully.

Waterfront Camping

For guests who prioritize proximity to the shoreline and expansive views.

Waterfront campsites are walk-in and offer some of the most scenic vantage points on the property. These sites are best suited for tent campers who don’t mind a short walk in exchange for a more immersive coastal setting.

Single and family waterfront options are available.
Family sites accommodate a maximum of 4 adults plus children.

Forest Camping

Perfect for tent campers seeking a tucked-away, wooded setting.

Most forest campsites are walk-in, requiring a 4–5 minute walk from the parking area. In return, you’ll find shaded, private sites surrounded by evergreens and immersed in the quiet of the forest.

Single sites are ideal for 1–2 guests.
Family forest sites accommodate a maximum of 4 adults plus children.
