Drive-In Camping at Doe Bay

Drive-in camping at Doe Bay is ideal for guests traveling with camper vans, sleep-in vehicles, small RVs, or anyone who prefers the convenience of parking at their campsite. These sites offer easy access to the heart of the resort while maintaining a peaceful, forested setting.

If you’re looking for comfort, simplicity, and proximity to amenities, drive-in camping is often the best fit.

What Makes Drive-In Camping Different

  • Park directly at your campsite

  • While best for smaller RVs or camper vans, some select sites can accommodate RVs up to 30 ft

  • Centrally located near baths, café, and waterfront

  • Picnic table included at each site

  • Ideal for families and small groups

Drive-in sites balance accessibility with a natural setting — you’ll still be surrounded by evergreens, but without the need to carry gear down a trail.

Drive-In Campsite Capacity

Our family drive-in campsites offer additional space for 1-2 tents or larger vehicles and are well-suited for small groups traveling together.

Maximum occupancy: 4 adults plus children

These sites provide room to spread out while remaining close to shared amenities.

Setting & Experience

Drive-in campsites are forested and centrally located within the resort. While they do not offer direct water views, the shoreline, café, and bathhouses are just a short walk away.

Like all camping at Doe Bay, the experience is rustic and nature-focused. Shared bathhouses are nearby, and campfires are permitted only at our community fire ring.

There are no utility hook-ups. We discourage the use of generators; if necessary, they must be used minimally and respectfully.

During periods of heavy rain, some drive-in sites may be temporarily unavailable to protect the grounds.
