Petilant Vi d’Agulla, Avinyo $20
Vi d’agulla, which means “prickly wine” in Catalan, named for its slightly effervescent character. Made from a blend 80% Petit Grain Muscat and 20% Macabeu, this low alcohol, spritzy white has delicate notes of honeysuckle, tart grapefruit, lime and a nice minerality.
La Araucaria Rosado, Delores Cabrera Fernandez $29
This lovely Spanish Rosado from the Canary Islands is made with 100% Listan Negro. Notes of Red and Black fruits, cracked peppercorns and purple flowers.
Candied Mushroom, Teutonic Wine $38
Not your typical Riesling for sure. Sweet, grassy, some residual sugar, relatively thick and full mouthfeel/unctuous for a Riesling. Grapefruit, lychee, hints of jasmine
Nas del Gegant, Escoda-Sanahuja $30
Red Blend of Cabernet Franc, Carignon, Merlot, and Garnache. Red fruits and flowers on the nose with hints of Ripe raspberry and strawberry. This one is definitely going to need decanting.
Speziale Verduno Pelaverga, Alessandria Fratelli $30
This Bright smoky spicy Red made from the rare Piedmont regional grape Pelaverga Piccolo. it’s a medium ruby red with pink highlights, with perfumed aromas of small red berries, rhubarb, rose hips, black pepper, underbrush, leather, and dried flowers. It is medium-bodied, with barely perceptible tannins.
