Bio on Whitney Lyman
Whitney Lyman is an American singer-songwriter who made her mark out of the illustrious music scene of Seattle and Los Angeles. Her music is a unique blend of indie rock and alternative pop, featuring powerful and emotional vocals, inspiring lyrics, and dynamic arrangements. Often compared to Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse, and Adele, Whitney crafts songs that are both deeply personal and universally resonant. Whitney has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Grammy-nominated ODESZA, opened for artists such as Tom Odell and The Bird and the Bee, and played at music festivals including Capitol Hill Block Party, the NAMM Show 2025 official stage, and Mastering the Music Business in Bucharest, Romania, and FOCUS:Wales. She has toured extensively across the US and Europe, earning acclaim for her evocative performances. Since her UK debut in 2024 Whitney Lyman received such a positive response from audiences she’s toured there three times within a year and is set to do her fourth UK/European tour in the fall of 2025 to keep up with the high demands of her quickly-growing worldwide fanbase. Whitney Lyman is endorsed by several top brands in the music industry, including Gibson Guitar, Telefunken Mics, Casio Keyboards, and Mackie Gear.
About the Doe Bay Artist in Residence Program (DBAIR-26)
The summer of 2026 will be the seventh year Doe Bay has offered DBAIR as a way to support the arts and artists. Performances will vary by week, at the discretion of the musician as well as dependent on the weather. Most performers will likely opt for Friday and/or Saturday evening entertainment on the Yoga Studio deck with an occasional campfire set. Up to date schedule information will be posted on our homepage and other social media outlets.
- Reserve a cabin for the time when your favorite artists will be around. Five night minimum June 16 thru Sept 15*.
- Music through DB-AIR is FREE and open to everyone!
- We are not selling tickets for this event. Joe and Maureen are underwriting this program as part of their commitment to the arts and artists; music and musicians. All we ask of you is to tip the artists!
