Award-winning Seattle based folk singer/songwriter Tekla Waterfield and multi-instrumentalist/producer Jeff Fielder (Mark Lanegan, Amy Ray, Indigo Girls) are a powerhouse musical husband and wife duo. The two self-released their debut album together, “Trouble In Time”, written while in quarantine and in response to much of the tumultuous events of the year, with the initial tracks recorded while participating in Doe Bay’s first Artist Retreat series in 2020, at the Hara Cabin.
Music from “Trouble in Time” has been featured on NPR’s World Cafe, KEXP, on radio stations across the US, in Korea, Japan, the UK, Scotland and more, with performances on nationally syndicated Art of the Song, The Folk Project’s Acoustic Stayaway, Art Zone on the Seattle Channel, and was given glowing reviews on American Songwriter, No Depression, Alternate Root, Dirty Rock Magazine, Sing Out! Radio Magazine, Audiofemme, Dekrentenuitdepop and more.
