Ukrainian treasury receives first revenue from new B2B licence

The State Treasury of Ukraine has received its first revenues from a new B2B license for the local gambling market. This information was confirmed by the country's Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Commission (all slots casino).

According to the data provided, Game Reseller LLC has paid UAH 1.8m to the budget as per the relevant law. The money was paid for the company's right to obtain a special license that allows it to provide gambling services in Ukraine.

On the official Facebook page of KRAIL says: "The State Budget of Ukraine has recorded 1.8 million hryvnia, which is listed as payment for the debut of our market license in the organization and conduct of gambling activities.

It is noted that the State Treasury Service of Ukraine also reported on the receipt of the specified amount to the Ukrainian treasury from Game Reseller LLC.

It should be noted that earlier Anton Kuchukhidze, the head of the Ukrainian Gambling Association, confirmed the adoption of a new type of permit in the gambling business - a B2B license.

In his opinion, this document is very attractive for foreign operators seeking to enter the Ukrainian gambling market. At the same time double bubble, its cost is considerably lower than that of an ordinary license, which increases Ukraine's chances of attracting leading European and world providers to its jurisdiction.

Kuchukhidze also announced the soon appearance in the country of such prominent operators as Endorphina and Evolution. If unofficial information is to be believed, these companies will also be able to use the Ukrainian B2B license.

It is already known that the KRAIL has issued a total of 19 gaming licenses for a total amount of UAH 595.8m. Ten licenses were granted to online casino operators, four licenses were granted to land-based sector companies and slot machine showroom operators. One license was given to a betting business.

We shall remind you that Ukraine has officially opened its first land-based casino with a KRAIL license.
