Mike Surber from Seattle’s Sons of Guns has a new solo project called Dea
r Mr. Henshaw.
The style has been called Sentimental Garage Folk—Like picture if Tom Petty had been the front man for Nirvana but then he mellowed out a bit and went on the road solo, opening up for the likes of Bobby Bare Jr. and Ryan Adams—Dear Mr. Henshaw might sound something like that.
He plays live in the Cafe Friday the 22nd of March. Show starts at 7:30pm.
